The Kingdom of West Sayville (KWS) recently became a full member of the Grand Unified Micronational (GUM), according to its prime minister, Sertor Valentinus . The KWS was previously granted observership in the organization on October 13, 2020, a status that was eventually upgraded to provisional membership on December 23, 2020. According to its MicroWiki page, the GUM describes itself as "an intermicronational organisation with the aim of helping diplomatic relations between micronations, with a general focus on its own member states." The organization was founded in 2009 and is primarily active in the MicroWiki sector of the micronational community .

The Commonwealth of Sayvillian Regions (CSR) celebrated its second anniversary today. Formally called "Pan-Sayvillian Unity Day," January 7 is a Commonwealth-wide holiday that celebrates unity between the Sayvillian regions (i.e. the Empire of Sayville, Kingdom of Sayville, Kingdom of West Sayville, and Dominion of Sayville) and signifies the anniversary of the Commonwealth's foundation on NationStates, which occurred on January 7, 2019. To celebrate the occasion, Charles, King of the Sayvillians, released a statement focusing on identity and community in the CSR; the statement can be accessed here . EOS, KOS, and KWS officials also approved several amendments to the Treaty of the Sayvilles , which was originally ratified on this day one year ago. The treaty was amended to improve the wording of some articles and to introduce a French translation of the treaty, in keeping with the Commonwealth's efforts to promote bilingualism.
