DOS célèbre son premier anniversaire

Le Dominion de Sayville a célébré aujourd'hui son premier «Fête du Dominion», une fête non officielle qui célèbre l'établissement du DOS en tant que région autonome du Royaume de Powhatan.

L'empereur-roi, le gouverneur général et le premier ministre ont publié de brèves déclarations sur les serveurs Powhatan et CSR Discord pour célébrer l'occasion, qui ont été citées ci-dessous:

Déclaration de Thomas Bainbridge, empereur-roi de Powhatan:

En tant que votre monarque de Powhatan et votre monarque, je voudrais prendre le temps aujourd'hui de vous remercier tous de faire partie de votre merveilleux Dominion et, par extension, de notre royaume de Powhatan. J'attends avec impatience une autre excellente année du Dominion!

En tant que nouveau résident du DOS, j'ai toujours l'impression d'avoir beaucoup à apprendre sur cette communauté et ses habitants, mais j'aime savoir que le Dominion s'épanouit si bien et devient un véritable paradis pour moi et les autres et souhaite partager mes sentiments de jouissance envers ce Dominion et son peuple. Alors à tous les autres résidents, nouveaux et anciens, merci de faire partie de ce grand Dominion et d'être des gens extraordinaires que j'ai appris à connaître. Bonne fête du Dominion!

La «Fête du Dominion» est un jour férié annuel dans le Dominion de Sayville qui célèbre son établissement en tant que région autonome du Royaume de Powhatan via la Loi sur le Dominion de Sayville. Depuis la création du DOS le 23 février 2020, c'est aujourd'hui la première fois qu'une telle fête est célébrée. Je souhaite à tous les résidents du DOS une bonne fête du Dominion et j'attends avec impatience les progrès que notre Dominion fera dans les mois à venir!

The Summer in Review

As Summer comes to a close, the SBC reflects on some of the notable events that have transpired in the Dominion and our fellow associates in the Commonwealth of Sayvillian Regions these past few months. Explained below are some of the noteworthy events that occurred in June through early September. New CSR Flags and Coats of Arms Starting in late Spring and early Summer, CSR regions began redesigning their flags to incorporate symbolism more representative of their communities. Central among these was a modified version of the traditional purple-white-gold Pan-Sayvillian tricolor, which served as a basis for the flags of the Kingdom of Sayville, Kingdom of West Sayville, and even the Commonwealth's flag. These designs were released to the general public on June 13, 2020, with the Empire of Sayville releasing their own redesigns a few days prior on June 6. The Dominion of Sayville opted against redesigning their Red Ensign (the Dominion's "officially unofficial" flag).

Political Activism on the Rise in Macronational Sayville

Earlier this month, Vincent Vertuccio (a prominent macronational activist in the Sayville area and resident of the micronational Dominion of Sayville), held an informal roundtable on macronational Sayville's history, demographics, and social issues relevant to its community members. The event offered micronational Sayvillians a chance to learn more about their macronational counterparts, especially regarding social and political issues. The roundtable was held in the backdrop of the upcoming US presidential election, an event that has interested many in the community. From Black Lives Matter protests to Back the Blue marches, macronational Sayvillians have taken a keen interest in political activism, especially among those who believe now is an opportune moment to advocate for change in the area. Sovereign of Powhatan Adopts New Title and Style

On October 21, His Majesty The Sovereign of Powhatan released the following statement on Powhatan's Discord server: By my Right as Sovereign of Powhatan, I do hereby decree the following; My title as the Sovereign of Powhatan shall be "His Imperial and Royal Majesty, Emperor-King of Powhatan." This may be, in day to day use, be shortened to "His Imperial and Royal Majesty, The King of Powhatan." Furthermore, the ruling House of Powhatan shall be the House of Bainbridge, making the Royal House of Powhatan an Imperial House. The Privy Council of Powhatan and Executive Council of the Dominion of Sayville will likely adjust their protocols to account for this change, though no statement has been released by either government as of late.
