Representatives from the Empire of Sayville, Kingdom of Sayville, Kingdom of West Sayville, and the Dominion of Sayville signed a memorandum of understanding this past Tuesday.
The memorandum clarifies the Dominion of Sayville's status in the Commonwealth of Sayvillian Regions and the Sayvillian micronational community. It was drafted in lieu of amendments made to the Treaty of the Sayvilles in January, a treaty the DOS is unable to sign given its non-sovereign status.
The agreement recognizes the Dominion as "a legitimate, albeit non-sovereign, Sayvillian region and micronation" that "is to be treated as an equal member of the Commonwealth of Sayvillian Regions, except in areas where Dominion and/or Powhatan law stipulate otherwise." It also states that "Officials from the Dominion of Sayville are to be afforded the same dignity..." as those from other Sayvillian regions in CSR discussions.
